Before you get in touch
Do I need a registered migration agent to apply for a visa?
No. Anyone can lodge their own application. People engage us because visa criteria, policy and evidence requirements change often, and a refused application costs time, money and sometimes future options. In Australia, only a registered migration agent, an Australian legal practitioner or an exempt person may lawfully give immigration assistance for a fee. You can verify any agent, including ours, on the official register at the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority.
Can you guarantee my visa will be granted?
No, and you should be cautious of anyone who says they can. Decisions are made by the Department of Home Affairs against the legal criteria that apply on the day. What we do is assess your prospects honestly, tell you if we think an application is not worth lodging, and prepare the strongest application your circumstances allow.
How much does it cost?
Fees depend on the visa type and the complexity of your matter. Before any work begins you receive a written agreement setting out our professional fees, the government charges and any third-party costs, so there are no surprises. Our free tools cost nothing.
I am already in Australia and my visa is about to expire. What should I do?
Contact us as early as you can. Lodging a valid application before your current visa ends usually means you receive a bridging visa while the new application is decided, and the conditions on that bridging visa matter. Leaving it until the last days narrows your options considerably.
My visa was refused. Is there anything I can do?
Often, yes, but time limits are strict. Depending on the visa and where you were when the decision was made, you may be able to apply to the Administrative Review Tribunal, and in limited cases request ministerial intervention. Bring your refusal letter to a consultation as soon as you receive it so we can advise on the deadline that applies to you.
Do you work with clients outside Brisbane?
Yes. We assist clients across Australia and overseas by video, phone and WhatsApp, and we have particular experience with applicants from India, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. Our office in Eight Mile Plains is open for in-person appointments.
